Seville is a wonderful city to visit at any time of the year, but in December, it becomes a privileged place to live the Magic of the Christmas, either alone or with your family.

With its Christmas decoration ( 287 streets and squares illuminated), Seville has a special brightness and if we add to this the smells os yesteryear… Those typical roasted chestnuts…All this takes you to another era.

Seville offers you many activities to liven up these holidays:

First of all, this year, in the San Francisco Square there is a light and sound show which makes a nod to the Cathedral with two domes topped with replicas of El Giraldillo.

We can also approach the Parque de los Príncipes (in the Barrio de los Remedios), where we can enjoy an interactive and sensory show of miniatures and crossing the river, in the Aquarium you can also enjoy a special concert.

Another good option is to enjoy the typical Nativity Scenes.

In the downtown area, in the back facade of the Town Hall we find the Canarian Popular Nativity Scene, in the Arch of Town Hall the Nativity Scene mounted by the staff of the Parks and Gardens Service of the city, and other Nativity Scenes that put the foundations of some banks and churchs, and with a little luck you will hear the typical bell ringers singing Christmas carols in the streets.

And leaving a little of the center, others to highlight, would be the Palacio de los Marqueses de la Algaba which is a Mudejar Nativity Scene and in the Nervión District, the Living Nativity Scene that this year takes place at the Portaceli School.

And last but not least, the typical Christmas Markets and family attractions.

We can not miss the Nativity Scene Fair on Constitucion Avenue, the Creative Craft Fair in the Plaza Nueva and the Christmas Market of Nervion, and the attractions por the little ones in the Plaza de la Encarnación, Alameda de Hércules, Prado de San Sebastián, the Christmas Children´s Park in Eduardo Dato and Sevillalandia in Sevilla Este, and of course, the skating ice rink with its wonderful Ferris wheel on the Paseo de las Delicias.

With all these activities, you can enjoy an unforgettable Christmas.
